Our Story

I am Alexis Bailey, the main pooper scooper at Better 2B Naked Cattery. Since I could crawl, I have always had a special connection with animals. I've had every animal imaginable - horses, pigs, dogs, cats, bunnies, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, and opossums! However, cats have always had a special place in my heart.
I had grown up all my life with Persians, and when my last persian passed at 16, I was determined to find the perfect cat to fill my house in his absence. A few months later, I brought home my first Sphynx and instantly fell in love with every aspect of the breed.
As I became more active in the Sphynx community, it became apparent that there were not enough people focused on the health and betterment of the breed. I saw more and more heartbreaking stories of people losing their beloved cats at a young age due to poor genetics and health problems. Inspired to change this, I started Better 2B Naked Cattery in 2018 with the focus of improving and preserving the health, temperament, and history of the Sphynx breed.

Our Pets

Snitch

Great Dane

Snitch joined our family in April of 2020, and quickly realized being a cat was way cooler than being a dog! He spends most of his day laying in the kitten room supervising babies and sacrificing himself as a kitten playground. When he does decide he needs a break, you can find him on the couch kneeding a blanket, just like the cats taught him!

Karma

Cane Corso

Karma takes her job og protecting the cattery very seriously. Her gentle yet watchful nature ensures the safety and comfort of our cats, while her affectionate temperament helps create a peaceful environment for the animals.

Isis

American Hairless Terrier

Isis joined our family in August 2023. She's learning her role in being a great sister to her feline family. She gets so excited once the kittens hit about 8-10 weeks old and officially start playing with her! She helps insure our kittens are socialized and ready for any playful and rowdy pups in their new homes!
